Finding peace of mind
Since starting work in HK, after completing studies in Canada, I always missed the source of serenity I had whilst there. Accidentally, I came across Japanese paper-clay, also known as the bread flower. I found that I regained my peace of mind gradually. Just as some people would go fishing, others would do Chinese painting for relaxation; whenever I am making clay flowers, I feel a sense of calm.
Like many women, I appreciate cute and beautiful things. The grace of flowers delights me even more. I spent five years continually learning a wide range of clay flower production. Each finished piece of clay flower product adds colour to my busy daily life, and nourishes my soul.
It is really wonderful and satisfying for me that I can introduce this special life style by hand-making clay flowers and I would like to share the calm I have found with others and hope it will bring the same peace of mind.
